KANTIMA INDUSTRY CO.,LTD. or Kantima is a Thai-US joint venture located in Rayong Thailand, established on January 6, 2016 with registered capital of 50 million baht. We are a professional manufacturer of wood pellets with a designed annual capacity of 100,000 tons. Our plant spans 40,000 square meters and employs 60 people. Our main business is the production and sales of wood pellet fuel products. Our factory address is 66/8 No.8, Nong Lalok Subdistrict, Bankhai District, Rayong, Thailand. Situated in the scenic, well-equipped, and resource-rich Rayong Province, we are 20 km from the coastline, 70 km from Laem Chabang Port, and 140 km from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport.
KANTIMA has an annual wood processing capacity of 200,000 tons. Our raw material comes from the abundant rubber forest waste wood surrounding our plant. The rubber tree is a fast-growing tree with good economic benefits, with an economic cycle of about 30 years. After that, it needs to be renewed and felled. We recycle waste wood from rubber forests and introduce internationally advanced biomass pellet molding machines to achieve automated and continuous production, improving production efficiency and product quality to ensure high quality and sustainability of pellet fuel. In reducing the pollution of forest waste combustion, we also increase farmers' income, profits, and employment, which is warmly welcomed by local farmers.
Rubber forest is an important part of the high-quality tropical forest ecosystem. According to the test, 1 hectare of rubber forest can absorb 1000 kg of carbon dioxide in 1 day and can produce 730 kg of oxygen. Rubber forest is like a natural "oxygen bar". Rubber wood, as a high-benefit circular economic forest, not only ensures the economic development of the wood industry but also protects the coordination of the ecological environment and forest resources. It is a model of sustainable development of the wood industry economy. As of 2020, Thailand rubber wood production accounts for 30% of the world's total output, with significant production potential.
